Justina is practicing meditation now for about seven years, and more and more she has recognized the path of Bhakti as her path. Bhakti yoga is the yoga of devotion, the yoga of the heart, of which kirtan is one of the main practices. Justina presently sings many mantras and accompanies herself and others on ukulele and guitar.
In this kirtan (otherwise called singing circle) we’ll sing as a meditation practice. Experience with singing or singing ‘well’ is not necessary at all. The meditation aspect is much more important.
In this singing circle Justina will guide you in singing meditation. We’ll sing mantras, as well as English songs. Actually all songs from the heart. We sing from our heart and toward our heart, to honor the love that’s present there.
